So wont this carb intake still out perform the truck intake? Plan on adding fuel injectors and elbow with fuel regulator. I would think it outperforms a fast intake as well as the stock intake. Plan to ls3 head my lq9 with custom cam and intake like this.

 

And far cheaper than a fast setup..

 

Thats what i thought maybe 5-550RWHP as well. Im going thus route. I heard people say heat log but yeah right who are you kiding... its a edlbrok that come tapped for injectors already; I may go that route.

I guess its time to treat this LS like a old SBC.. with some 6.2 heads lol

Carb intakes are the bomb! Very good flowing intakes on any setup.
