Default Help with wierd lifter noise

My cam swap dod delete is complete. On start up is sounds nice and quiet. Ls7 lifters eps cam ,7.4 pushrods, pac springs. After initial drive I thought there was a exhaust leak on drivers side. Kind of flutter of ticks.1500-2000 rpm. Is not exhaust, and seems to be coming from drivers side only.
I have rechecked pr lenght with or checker and came up with .85 preload, tried other method and got 1 3/4 turn to 22ft pds from zero lash.
Any ideas? Thx

ls7 lifters preload is .075

having to much preload will cause you issues

I would try 7.375 pr if that would bring it down to .050-.060 preload and solve problem but I not sure that would cure it
