HELP! unusual ticking
my truck has been making a ticking noise, this started yesterday, it seems that it comes from the passengers side from the place where the spark plugs are, its not the usual cam tick since my cam was installed last year, this sound is new to me, i also have the check engine light on . ive got STS turbo, 220/220 cam, pacesetter LTs.

Good advice. The STS (any turbo) adds extra requirement to springs. If you stayed with stockers, that may be your issue.
If all the springs look solid, see if you can localize it to a particular cylinder (a length of PVC pipe will help here, use it like a stethoscope). Once you find it, pull the plug.

thanx guys, i just took a look at the truck and it seems that the right header's bolt's were little loose so i tightened them up and its gone.
