Default heads milled .045

I have a set of 243s milled .045 and the machine chop checked them with plexiglass and a dripper and said they were 59cc chambers.. Anyways I'm wondering if I'm gunna have any issues as far as ptv clearance or anything of that nature.. I have stock mls gaskets I will be using. My luck I will have to shim the intake or somthing too but I'm wondering if I'm gunna have mechanical issues??

Thanx,
Garrett

The ones I got or supposedly milled too .042 & or 58cc. I didn't have them checked though, but I had no clearance problems with stock gaskets.

If they milled them on the intake side of the head as well, you won't have any sealing problems.

Just to let you guys know if someone stumbles across this thread in the future looking for info .. It worked like a champ. Everything lined right up just fine and it started and didn't break a valve so I'm guessing the ptv clearance was good lol

Go out and tag the rev limiter a couple of times real hard, that is the true test.

I've got a set of 243's that are milled .03 and was told that they were 59cc cambers...

Looking around I saw somewhere that .006=1cc?

I guess I'm confused as to how your's being milled down .045 would bring you to 59 and not somewhere around 56.5?

Can someone please school me?
