Default Heads

I have an 02 silverado with a 4.8l, 70mm kb intercooled kit, 62lbs injectors, racetronix intank pump, and im thinkin about some heads,

I was thinking about getting another set of factory heads worked over, bigger valves, ported and polished and the valve bowls worked, I live about 5 min from a place that does some killer work and has a very vey nice flow bench

Any opinions or input?

To be honest, I would think you could spend that money elsewhere. That is coming from a guy running good heads with boost. There are plenty of guys running stock heads making great power. I would upgrade the springs though.

I think there's usually more power to be made with GOOD aftermarket heads when you have FI. But I don't think that it's as much of a dramatic improvement over stock heads, like it would be on a N/A engine setup. But if you feel that you've already maxxed out your current setup and that heads are the next step for you, then I'd suggest calling WCCH for some advice.

If you are still on a stock cam, there is a lot more to be gained with a cam than heads.

799/243 heads worked can be good I would use a stock worked heads over a aftermarket heads.
