LS1howto.com has a badass write up and diagram on how to do it. I did mine this past weekend like this.
Step 1
tq 1-10 at 22ft lbs
Step 2
1-10 degree to 90
Step 3
1-8 Degee another 90
Step 4
Degree 9&10 another 50
Step 5
tq 11-15 to 22ft lbs

Yea those steps are the same as Chiltons but they just combined the 4th step in with #3.
I just got carried away with the breaker bar and had 90 stuck in my head. lol
