Default head stud question.

ok as some of you know my 5.3l cam gear broke on me and took out the engine. my tahoe is an 04 but had an early 04 late 03 5.3 in it. so it had the heads studs with the three different sizes (long big ones short big ones and the tiny ones). my new 6.0l is also an 04 but i think its a later build so i'm guessing it has the two sizes vise the three. question is are they all long on the big bolts or are they all short? iirc my 5.3 had all long in the middle with the very outer 2 on each end being short. what i'm trying to figure out is if i can just call up arp and buy replacement bolts for the short ones. so maybe i don't have to shed out the almost $300for a new kit.

I believe they are all long in the later gen. You can call ARP and buy replacement bolts like you said. They are expensive when you buy them individually but it sure beats buying a whole new set

you may stick to those things only it would be a better option rather than switching towards the newer one, it would help u to save more and more for it....
