Default Head job cost

I went to the shop today and talked to the guys there. He quoted me $ 350.00 to PP clean up the exhaust side valves to reduce shrouding is this a good price for just the labor. Also he said he could do larger valves if i wanted for that price.

SEROIUSLY YOU SHOULD ALSO GET A 3 ANGLE VALVE JOB AND SURFACE CHECK OR HEADS CUT FOR THAT PRICE.

That's a good price for the P & P on the cylinder heads. A lil on the high side for the other head. lol

Yeah that did include a resurfacing, 5 angle valve job, and he also said we could mill them if i wanted

Im not to sure about the milling though. are there any cons to this. I will be getting a 218/222 comp cam with rods and spring at the same time.

You left yourself wide open on this one... That's reasonable on the headwork.... If you mill double check pushrod length before you order.

ok i will check that. any suggestions or info on milling the head i know it will raise compression but will i need to adjust any other things to run at a higher compression.

My machine shop said 450 to PnP, mill, 3 angle vavle job, and work the combustion chamber on my 317s.
