My motor has been torn apart for a few weeks and just had the head gaskets layin around on my drive way..while i was cookin some burgers on the grill i was lookin down at them noticed the exhaust gases have been leaking by on 1,3,5,7 and 4,6,8 cylinders..i used arp rod bolts and the gaskets i told my machine shop to get some .040 head gaskets..they came in a felpro box..they look like stockers so whats yalls opinion..

Those markings look very typical to the 4-5 boosted engines that i've torn down. I imagine nitrous could cause the same head lifting issue.
Those are stock 6.0L gaskets that measure ~.052" compressed. Those are the same one's I get from the dealer.

I doubt the heads are warped. As I said, looks normal to me from what i've seen. The castings are very thin and the deck surface distorts under high cyl pressures.

No, make sure the heads are flat and put it back together and run it.

TurboGibbs, will you start to push water before the exhaust begins to leak like this? How much farther could that engine have been pushed before the gasket failed (assuming no detonation)?

It almost looks like you overtightened the heads causing the area between the bolt holes to bow upwards and not seal. Similar to overtightening a thermostat housing.
