Unless you're wanting other than the standard .051 thickness go with this, if you're wanting to go to with a thinner gasket, I've had no troubles with my Cosmetic MLS gaskets.

I believe you guys mean "Cometic" gaskets

I like the GM MLS gaskets myself, and my second choice would be the thinner, more expensive Cometics. If it's an eary 5.3, the GM MLS's won't work as there is a notch or something in the head that will leak if the factory graphite gaskets aren't used. Not sure what years/casting numbers this applies to, but I know that this info is floating around here somewhere.

How about fel pro perma torque mls head gasket are they or cosmetic head gasket better I would be using the new head gasket on ly6 (6.0) I want to use a .40 ths gasket

I do that every time. My phone doesn't like the word Cometic.

My '02 had MLS gaskets, so it would of had to of been earlier than that for the graphite gaskets.
