Lightbulb Head flow comparison: Ford vs GM vs Dodge

Lets have a discussion comparing head flow numbers on factory truck cylinder heads. Anyone have some nice data we can use?

Stock heads: Intake/Exhaust flow numbers for GM 5.3/6.0L vs Ford 5.4L SOHC and DOHC vs Dodge Hemi

I'm wondering which of the big three have provided us with the best hardware off the showroom floor.

Also, lets see some ported head flow numbers too!

Tony

I was talking to one of the guys in a lightning forum about this apparently even fully ported 5.4 ford head cant match the flow numbers of a stock ls6 head. Wish I had some numbers. This is gonna be an interesting thread looking forward to reading.

I'd be interested to see what the stock HEMI heads flow.

Here's jrp's head flow sheet, covers most of the GM heads.

I know my ported 6.0L LQ9 heads flow 342 cfm at .600 lift with a 230 cc port. Pretty damn good for an OE casting.

I have a idea, if you can do it?
Yelo has the cam specs in the cam thread with a link, the link to your sheets would work wonders if was posted under his link, kind of a cross reference from cam lobe lift to flow of a set of heads on a 4.8/5.3, 6.0 and the LS1 heads.
that would really help on building a better motor.

Hot Rod Magazine has a huge article on the new Hemi in their latest issue. There were flow numbers in the article, and if I remember right they were pretty good for a stock head. I'll post the numbers up tonight or tomorrow morning.

Thats a good idea. It would really help to know what head/cam combo works best. Save a lot of time and money.

Flow real good on the intake but, the exhaust flows right there near a stock 5.3 head.

Anyone know the port volumes?

Wow, those hemi heads flow better than my cleaned up 5.3 heads. Here are my numbers off an old superflow100 bench. I have no idea what they flowed on this bench stock before I started messing with them.

.200 129/98
.300 182/129
.400 208/163
.500 247/173
.600 262/184
