Which head bolts?

Default Which head bolts?

which length bolts do i need for a 04 gmc. when i called the dealer they asked me which ones i wanted. does anyone have a clue?

it depends on when in 04 your truck was built. The earlier years used 2 different length 15mm bolts, and the later version uses 10 of the same length of 15mm bolts.

Call Thunder racing and get ARP head studs, much easier and they are reusable.

He's got an 03/04 build and I already have the old style bolts I didn't use. We figure he's got the newer style bolts. ARP bolt/studs are really pointless on a mild cam 5.3L truck.

id get the arp bolts as you just torque them down to spec..stock bolts you have to stretch and thats damn hard to to up in the truck..plus the arp's are reuseable and like turbobeserker said they will take what ever you plan on doing in the future

maybe i did not specify that i need to know what style headbolt? not which brand.build date is 03/04 if that helps
