Arrow h/c nitrous or l/c f/i help decide :)

ok im kinda between going two different routes the f/i rout or good ol happy juice
ok i got my heads now stage 3 035s(same as 317s)
plan on jesel shaft mount rockers
chromoly pushrods
and caddy lifters good to 8k
i am not sure on a cam depends on whick route i go
callies crank
lentz rods
forged pistons
pro products intake(anybody wanna buy an ls2 with rails??)
90mm ssr ported and polished tb
itll be a 5.0 destroker with a 3.905 bore
i wanna shift at 7500 on the wot shifts
4000 stall
5:13 gears
and i most definetely will be puttin a better rearend in and maybe a th400 like the fbody guys have been doing

if i go forced induction i plan on using a hsw plate and still spraying a 100-150 shot just to help a little with the stand alone nitrous fuel system with 112 octane

if i go high compression nitrous 11:1-11.5:1
2 stage one with the plate 150
other direct port 300
with the same stad alone set up

please vote and chime in

lol i meant with a q-tip gosh

yea i was thinkin that to considering i got a 215/218 555/545 114 cam now for cheap and i think it would do ok until i get it dialed in and get some numbers

so 150 shot with a turbo is doable right??

g force makes a LT325/55R22/D 36.1 inches tall if i could find 2 junky 22s i wander if these would hook up better than 37 inch kumhos:jester:

So you are destroking a motor to move the power band way up but you are running a heavy truck with 37" tall tires?

Same here. and if its the avalanche, those are heavy beasts.

I wouldn't worry about hooking. the race will be over by the time you start picking up speed.

I'm not against destroking. i had a 302 in my blazer for a while, but it's an s10 so weight wasn't a huge issue.

im tube framing it guys and it will no longer be 4wd by the time i cut the quarters and bed bottom out and do fiberglass bedsides i will have shaved alot of weight along with the whole front end being fiberglass and probly an ls1 block to shed some more weight
prerunner avalanche
prerunners when tubed up dont weigh that much
-----5.13s and a 4000 stall will never get of the line----???

you couldnt have put that VITAL info in the first post ??? Thats changes the whole ball game... Its a strange build but, hey, each to their own I guess.... personally, not the way I'd go

Me either.. it seems like its a lot of canceling out. It could work. I'd go with the f/i setup and definitely the th400.

The reason i was saying it don't seem like it would get off the line very well is the simple fact that with everything up top, by the time you start making some good power you'll be getting ready to shift and drop back under your powerband.
similar to how sowaidi was doing with his.
here's the video he posted.

obviously since your doing a lot of weight reduction its going to help significantly, but to me it seems like you could go a diff route with less work and have better results.
