I know it is a FI cam, but how would it do in a NA 4.8. I kinda wanna go with the sleeper look and with the wide LSA it probaly would not have much lope to it. Opinions?

GT2-3 cam should do pretty well in a 4.8 with a stick, but it won't sound stock. It's kind of like a Z06 cam on steroids.

My Z06 cam sounds stock, but I did loose a bit down low and a 4.8 ain't got much down there anyway . It will pull MUCH harder on the top end though. I would do it, especially if you have a 5 speed.

Actually, I've heard it's quieter than stock. The wide LSA (118.5) has something to do with that.

on a 5.3 with factory exhaust manifolds it sounded stock to me, but boy did that thing pull at the top of the track, I was in the other/losing lane

Not to hi-jack the thread but I have been wondering the same exact thing...how well would the GT2-3 cam do in a 5.3 (such as mine in my sig) and would I need to get a different TC (perhaps a TB TC)?

Yes...I know they are good cams for FI engines but I like the stock sounding idle and seem like an all-around good cam.
