It somewhat depends on how you want the truck to run. Some like lope and some like a stock idle. I prefer a stock idle. I went with a custom grind and trusted the company to design a cam for what I want and they did not. I personally think my cam is too big for my expectations. Idle kind sucks, loud valve train noise but truck pulls great from 20 mph up to 80+ mph. I personally would have chosen a smaller cam to get a more stock sound.

That is just me. If pure performance is what you want, go with a larger cam. If you want a sleeper, go with a smaller cam. You obviously will not have the performance. Also, you may want to go with a cam that has a track record with tuning. For some reason, I am having trouble with some idling issues with my cam. My cam is not small or big.

Do a lot of due dilligence when selecting. If you can do the work yourself then it is not a problem for you to change, but if you are like me, and cannot do the work yourself, it is a hassal.

i have been looking at that cam and the tsp 220/220 .581/.581 112.
