for you.. TR220 or if you wanted to go bigger a TR224... the TR220 tuned properly in that truck will scream... just look at bluecajun's times. Low 12.50's without any power adders... ya cant really argue with that. your 3000 stall will work well with it too!! if you go 224, get it on a 114LSA, you wont be disappointed that way either but it will require a little more tuning to make run and drive correctly.

I love my 224 so far but I have a 3400 stall. It is a 224/224 581/581 114 LSA. It doesn't really lope at all when it is warmed up, really sleeperish actually.

If your not going with an adder overlap/compression are your friends keep the lsa, ICL tight and around 220 duration like others have said Id also mill the heads about .04-.05, angle job

If you dont go with long tubes I would bias the exhaust like a 214/222 on a 110 .560 ish lift

I am installing a XE275HR .222/.224 .566/.568 112 from COMPCAMS this is a good cam if you are going to us the magic gas (NOS). Make sure to get matching components like the springs, pushrods, valve locks, retainers, lifters, timing chain and rockers. That if you want the works or just go with cam springs and pushrods like many do. Also get a ported oil pump for cheap insurance.
