Default finally ordered my 408 stroker short block from tsp

as the title says i finally ordered my 408 stroker short block on tuesday along with ls6 ported oil pump and DBR TIming chain.. as well as slps L92L76...64cc heads manifold package

i hope in the end that this become a fast enjoyable truck cause ive been without my baby since the day b4 thanks giving
tear...

Diamond 4cc pistons,
plasamoly/napier ring set,
eagle h-beams
eagle 4" crank
With ARP2000 rod bolts and ARP main stud kit
compression should be around 11.5:1

now the only thing i need is a cam ..
and A good built transmission LOL

I'm in the same boat than you! been without my truck since december 17th. I just received all my parts. Good luck on the build. What cam are you going with?

thats the problem i dont kno what type of cam to run with since the L92 heads are sensatvie to different types of cam

Why dont you ask rick@synergy he seems to have a good idea on how to spec a cam to match L92's.I know that the L92's likes lobes that are fairly lazy compared to cathedral port.

yea i need to go to his shop and talk to him..... i was reading his threads on ls1 tech sounds like a good cam
..made something around 500ish on 408 wit bolt ons and the L92/76 head manifold combo...
