1 nut....just pull it out of the cross member and put a jack on the tail housing and lean the engine forward.

agreed alot easier just to stick the bolt in the head and put it on than getting under the truck to undo one bolt then jack it up and then go stick the bolt in the head then go back and let the jack down and crawl back under there and stick that nut on. by the time you do all that i can have that head about torqued down.
