How many miles do you guys have on yours and what is about the max life to get out of them? Both cams have been under .560 lift so nothing that big but just looking into mileage to start getting them checked and to look into a new set.

 

I'd probly have em checked if I had over 75-100k of normal street use. But I'm certainly not the authority on the subject. Most speed shops can check those, though

I only have about 7K on mine, so I bring nothing to the table. Check over on tech, they might already have a thread like that.

Valve spring life will be affected by how agressive the cam lobes are and how high you consistently spin the engine, obviously a more agressive cam that spins higher will have shorter valve spring life...

 

I have thirty thousand on mine and checked them about three thousand ago and still have no problems and my cam is 585 lift hope that helps
