Engine rebuild, parts questions?
#1
I'm planning to rebuild a 80's 350 vette motor, bore over .40 and slap a set of keith black pistons, and connecting rods and such, Comp Cams roller lifters, and Harland sharp roller rockers, comp cam double valve springs, it already has a large cam in it, but not completely sure of lift or anything on it yet. should I change the cam too? Im looking for hp but not so much that it costs thousands at this moment in time.

it's hard to say whether or not you should change the cam without knowing what it is to begin with, what your goals are and what the rest of your build is currently like...keep in mind flat tappet cams are dirt cheap for a small block chevy and there are several great flowing sets of heads out there for pretty inexpensive as well.
