Lope and boost do not go together. If lope is important to you, consider nitrous.

yep....on one hand you are asking for good advice and the other?

What type of supercharger? Look at the other trucks running well and see what cams they run?

Trever doesn't know what he's talkin bout.
No seriously, he does. For a maggie, most run a LPE GT2-3 or a GT7.

Agreed, if you want to go sc, you don't want the overlap that equals lope. The Lingenfelter GT cams are supercharged favorites.

Im curious to the heads as well, especially the L92 heads that seem to be popular...

It's not that aftermkt. heads are a bad thing, it's just that stock heads will get the job done. That money saved could be pocketed, or spent on other mods, like say, a tranny for instance. If a 60e, look to strengthen that if sticking w/ it. Rearend?
I always see certain things on S/C or turbo builds. People usually strengthen those things.
If it were me, & the $ is in the budget, the following would be on my list, ideally to upgrade/ buy.

1)Tranny
2)Rearend
3)Gauges- F/P, Boost, Wide Band

I think those are the biggies. From there, there can be other things. Hdrs/ & or exhaust to maximize. Convertor, I'm up on the air on where to put this, but I think I'd prolly get one when tranny is done. I think most would agree 60E is weakest link in our trucks. Whether S/C, turbo, nitrous, or more motor; mods will find weak links.

People don't always do em, some get lucky. But sooner or later...

To OP, u never stated what type of S/C. Is it a maggie? or what?
