Default Which engine

Just bought a 6.0L engine out of an '04 2500HD chevy. Which version is it and what is the compression ratio? I know this has been answered a time or two, but I can't find it. TIA

Should be a LQ4 with approximately 9.4:1. If you have the serial # the 8th digit will be a U.
