ebay ls head studs

Just a side note that is somewhat on topic...
I've broke ARP head studs before... while being torqued to spec in sequence using their lube and a calibrated torque wrench.
ARP isn't the end all in the fastener market... they are not indestructible by any means.
Are they better then the ones being sold on ebay... not sure.. havnt bought any.
With that in mind... the set for my cummins will most likely be ARP or Haisly Machine...

i feel like head studs wouldn't be somewhere to cheap out on. but i've never done them and $70 does sound a lot better than $200+... and i know nothing is indestructible, but i'm one of those people if i'm going to spend the time and money, i don't want to be doing it again any time soon.

So those two shorter bolts on the ends torque to the same as the other large bolts/studs.
EDIT: I don't recommend using ARP torque spec on ebay head studs. I stretched a few of the studs and now don't torque past 70ft lbs. See the video I posted three posts down.

I just used ARP's torque recommendations. It says to use manufacturer sequence and torque the larger bolts down in three even steps to 75 or 80lbs I think it was. The 5 or so small ones across the top only torque to like 22lbs.

I wound up making a video on these studs with torque spec and sequence. I've used them a few times now. I'm not sure how much more I'll use them since the price about doubled on them. I may just start using ARP bolts, not studs.
