Default dual valve springs

I've decided to go with dual springs on the new motor, so let me know your thoughts on which ones I should get or avoid.

Thanks guys

If you plan to install duals youself don't try to do it with a "jaw" type spring compressor. The jaw will only compress the outer spring and leave the inner spring expanded so you can't get the locks out. You'll need a tool such as the Tim's or Vinci/Crane. I have both of them. The Vinci cost 3 times as much, but it does 2 at a time instead of 1. 2 for 1 doesn't directly relate to 1/2 the time to make the swap, but it's close.

I run Crane duals, good to .650 lift and 7000 rpm. They came with Ti retainers, but I did have to get different valve seals. 13K on them and no complaints.

I also used the Crane valvespring tool. Definately the way to go.

I am also running Crane duals with the Ti retainers. If you can get a good deal on Comp 921's, those are good springs also.

I forgot about the Patriot spring, Richard at WCCH sells them. I would call Richard and see which of the two dual sets they offer fits your needs.

He also has the Patriot Extreme dual spring, I believe the Extreme spring is close to 400 lbs open pressure.

I am using PRC dual springs. I got on sale for like 220$ or so at TSP a while back.

Exactly what I have. 3 engines have come and gone and still the same springs. The Crane tool is great. It compresses 2 springs at once.
