Default differences in my motor and a ls1?

i got my ls1 longblock in on monday and ima change the cam in it this weeked, just wondering if i will be able to use my pushrods and 918s from my 4.8 on the ls1? thx fellas

are the rods on the 4.8 after market? . . . are they hardened . . . . . springs will swap right over.

Make sure the pushrods are the correct length as well.. If the heads have been milled, head gasket thickness changed it can affect the pushrod length requirement. I think aftermarket cams have different size base circles or something like that as well, so yea, get a checker(15-30$) and be sure of what length you need.

ya the rods i have in the truck now are comp hardened PR
