Just get some LS6 takeoffs off a new 4.8 or 5.3

i thouhgt ls6 were bigger than a 4.8 or 5.3

If I'm not mistaken they come on the new 5.3s. They will be better than ls1 heads.

oh i see... so if i get ahold of some of these heads and shave them .020 or .030 it would be even better than doin them to mine.. correct??

I'm guessing they already come milled since if you put LS6 heads on a 5.3 the compression would be lower than 9.5:1. You should be able to just put them on as they are.

you need to shaved them .035-.040 for it work good on your 5.3

you can do a swap of your own heads and worked for 600 bucks if you do it yourself, if you pay someone it will cost you alot more.
