debating on which manifold
#11
The bad thing about the Weiland is that it is aluminum and supposedly it retains a lot more heat compared to the plastic manifolds that don't.
Thats what I've always heard.
What RPM do you shift at??

it retains more heat, which after a few runs causes your IAT to go up and then you won't be getting that cool dense air charge that you want to have.

im fixin to get the Professional Products intake for 359..you get the rails too..either the 85 or 96mm intake..the way i see it the heads are metal too and retain heat

You want to have lower IATs to make more power right??
#18
if it makes more power than i got right now im happy with it..every one says its going to kill your power..but no one has proof..show me some proof that it kills power..

yea im with dirt track racer here.... show me the numbers that metal increases temp...cause at one point i was about to get the weiand intake but then came across the ls6 stock manifold.. but if yall can prove that metal increases temp than plastic bring it hehe

you'll have to find someone that actually has one and ask them if it would consistently run good times or after a few runs and it gets good and hot, it wouldn't run as fast.
As I stated above my arguement is nothing but "hear say" I've never actually experienced it.
I agree anything that makes more power is a good thing though. Keep us posted with your new intake and how your experiences are.
