Default d.o.d. eliminator question

Not sure if this is the right section but close enough. I plan on ditching the d.o.d. and camming my 07, but I also plan on a t56 swap. My question is, is it necessary to get rid of the d.o.d. before the trans swap, or does it not matter what order I do these things in?

Get rid of the DoD with the cam swap. Shouldn't affect the trans.

Thanks for the reply. I plan on getting rid of the d.o.d. the same time as the cam.

I can think of one or two threads that refer to the DOD delete, both in this section...I *think* that supercharged680 might have done the DOD delete but I'm not sure. IIRC, one of the write-ups was quite in-depth
