Cost of 823 heads

Default Cost of 823 heads

Hello all, i was wonder how much 821 heads go for bare? (i.e) no valves,stems, retainers,springs etc...

Your knowledge is much appreciated !!

The title should say 821... i found a bare set for 350 and wanted to know if it was a good deal..looking to slap these on my lq4

All depends on what you want i found a set of dual springs complete with seals seats retainers and locks for 175 shipped.... And i have seen valves for as much as $200 a piece and also seen them for $60 for a complete set....

I think $250 is a fair price for a completely bare set of 821 heads! Same head as a 823 and the other four digit number... You can find complete sets with dual springs all the time for $650-$800!

I paid $650 for the heads on my 99 and they had already been decked and had a valve job etc done on them there was one little messed up spot in one of the comcustion chanbers but it does affect anything.... Its where the material on the head comes down a little between the valves...

250 sounds good but this guy wants 350!
