Default Compression test #'s

When it was put back together 3 seasons ago
200 psi across the board todays compression test
1- 179 2-180
3- 200 4-200
5- 71 6-178
7- 175 8-175

It blew the dip stick out on the first pass last day out, I think I might have a ring seal problem How much power am I losing here??

It ran a new best last pass of the day I think it still has a little left

ok, that's cool. Are you doing all seals and bearings? Or pistons and more?

I don't know but 200 down to 71 that cylinder can't be doing much. Let alone all the others that were low, and the last pass it still ran a 9.88

Maybe the saying is true, "They run their hardest right before they blow up".

I guess that would be true with all the other cylinders that were low would about equal one dead hole.
