Default CNC lvl 3 heads and cam or supercharger?

I'm trying to decide what will yield the best #s for money spent I was thinking Patriot Performance #723-2019
GM LQ9 6.0L Stage III Cylinder Heads
72cc Combustion Chamber
With comp xr265 cam 212 /218 or go with a magna charger either a maggi 112 or Tvs style. The heads and cam will set me back 2000 and a used charger is 3000-4000 . I'm not sure which way to go. This is all going on a LQ9 with LT's , twin fans, bbk 80 mm polish/ported, K N intake , Gibson cat back , FLT 4l65 lvl5 and 2600 stall, and a tune. What #s could I expect gain from both alone or together? Also has any one used those heads before? Sorry for the long post

The cam is way undersized for the motor and the heads. If you go the heads route go with a cam at least in the mid 220's for duration. If your wanting of the line torque then the maggie is probably the way to go.

Thanx Tom . I am looking for off the line. The reason I was looking at the small cam is from what I've researched that cam was said to be better for low end but what I read could be wrong. How much HP/TQ could be gained from the charger and same question for the heads and cam ?

The 212/218 is a good low end cam in a 5.3.....IMO it would be a baby cam in a 6.0. If it were me I would go with a tr220 or 224. That being said, I think you would be happier with the off-the-line power a supercharger would provide as oppose to a head/cam combo which would really help you in the mid to high power band. I think a maggie with your mods would be capable of putting down 500 at the wheels.

I must say though I have not done a supercharger on any of my setups so I can not give you personal or real world experience just what I have read and researched and seen others do on here.

I'd vote TVS supercharger for launching power. If you decide to go the heads and cam route, you might want to consider a higher stall torque converter to get you up into that stronger part of the power band.

Hard to beat a blower for low end. I blow the tires out at half throttle from a stop in my heavy tahoe and a stock stall.

If you want torque then get a blower. I ditch'ed my past blower setup to do something different (Heads & Cam) It didnt last long. I went back to a blower.
