I wonder which good head 243 or 799 on 5.3 with cam.. What about do with turbo in future which would those heads would better. I know it would much better than 317. Right now I think I have 706 on mine LM7 5.3 Give me some idea.

 

They are the same. The only difference is the springs. The valves are different if the 243's come of an LS6. If you are getting used, go either or. If you are buying new, you can get the LS2 243's from Scoggin Dickeys with the yellow springs(.570 lift capable) for 320.00 assembled.

I have the prc 2.5 on my cammed 5.3 and I like a lot mine r only 60cc tho but they made a noticeable difference

 

If you have the extra coin to spend, I'd recommend giving Richard at WCCH at call, he has a few options for your 5.3 and will take the time to hook you up right
