I did not. Both my vents are at the rear and the factory fill is still the factory fill.

I eliminated the breather tube in the upper passenger cover and I added a 10 to the rear of the cover, taking advantage of the factory baffle

Factory fill still in place

OE 3/8" breather eliminated

100% factory baffled

10 fits under coils, hole drilled in cover for vent to be functional, factory baffles utilized

Definitely like your idea! Wonder if I can get 90degree fittings on that in an NBS since you said those are gen IV covers.

My intent was to put the gen4 covers in an NBS

Now they are going in a C5. If there's gonna be issues, it's gonna be in the Corvette. I don't think there's fit issues on the truck cowl

your restriction is in the factory baffling if you are using a 10an and pulling through the factory hole which is the size of a dime or smaller

-10 only has an ID of .550 or so, so not much restriction if any at all

Calipers with no 0 error

-10AN with a .483 ID

Factory baffle with a .592 ID

Being the size of a dime would be an upgrade, actually. But the fact remains, the factory baffle will allow a -10 to operate sufficiently

Ya'll been sippin that haterade
