i use my truck 8-10 hrs a day pulling a gutter trailer ie main want for a cam
i already have an afe intake and bully dog gt tunner
the ls6 cam is all top end and a dog below 3 grand
where as the 259 is all low end grunt i dont want a 6.0 because ill be getting 10mpg nothing but bolt ons will still not give me what i want
i had a dodge with a 360 before this truck and i put a step up cam basically 10 more dur and .050 more lift and it worked good for me in my old work truck it to had stock everything minus a flo pro exhaust i know im not the only one going for this or wanting to know about this type of cam swap
westers garage in tilley i didnt even know such a place existed his prices are kinda high though unless im reading that wrong but u get what u pay for
i do wanna sell my bully dog gt and buy hp tuners
do you know when about hel be getting back from holidays and what id be looking at to get my truck tuned

I think in person local tunes are awesome, but if you are on a very tight budget you can get a mail order tune. You order what exactly you want with what mods. They then send you a tuned PCM you send back your old PCM. Its only like $200-300 from Black bear or Nelson Performance or any of the other site supporters.

I had a, blackbear on my old truck an felt a local tuner could get it dialed in a little better. By the time you're had to ship it back to him from Canada multiple times your at pretty much the same cost anyways. And there's no waiting for it to get here if you go local. My opinion anyways...
