Default Can you guys help me out guys? 112lsa with a radix??

I see in the classifieds there is a radix intercooled supercharger going for a decent price within my budget.. problem is I dont think the cam I have in my truck will work with the supercharger and I'm going to have to put the stock camshaft back in which i really dont want to do but at the sametime dont want to cause serious damage to my motor since its my DD..I think i read in the past its better to go with like a 114lsa camshaft for blowers..

I'm thinking I wont be able to run my comp cam.. but to be sure I would rather have you guys with better understanding and knowledge about this stuff help me out.

My comp cam specs are 220/224 - .530/.534 112LSA..

You could run that cam, its not ideal but I would run it before I went back to stock. What motor do you have? You will bleed off some boost with that cam but it should still work just fine. If you have a 6.0 then that cam wont be bad at all.

I ran a 224/224 112 lsa and no problems. Just make sure you adjust idle over 700, below that the radix sounds like your motor is knocking.

By the way, the times in my sig were with the 224 cam and Radix.

I have a 114LSA cam in my truck and my idol had to bumped up to 850 not to get that chatter.

That cam isn't bad for an S/C. The lsa is okay with the duration (shouldn't have much overlap). You could do with more exhaust bias if you were doing a custom cam anyway, but for a budget...
