Default Camming a 360??? Dodge guys!!

Like the title says what needs to be done to change a cam in a 1999 dodge 5.9 360? My Buddy wants to do a cam, and I don't know much about those motors. So if you can point me in the right direction it would be great. Thanks.

What kind of info are you looking for exactly??

go to KRC Engineering ( can't remember the exact address ) as they have a lot of mods for those engines...
Mopar Performance has a lot of cams for those trucks, including a book about street trucks by Mopar Performance that is a decent read for anyone with first and second generation trucks...

I would get the service manual for that Generation.... but it is fairly straight forward... if you can do a small block Chevy, there is really very little difference.... The factory service manual can be found for sale in the back of the little owners manual... for some reason the parts dept. guys do not like to order them. They are about $100+... and yea I know, that much cash would be better spent towards mods....but the devil is in the details and sometimes that factory manual is a necessity. I good service manual may suffice, Motors, Chiltons, ect...

Too bad it wasn't a 5.7L...I'm doing a cam swap in my truck sometime this week.

Congrats on the new Cam! the new Hemi may actually be a little easier than on the older stuff.... Do not actually know myself yet... I will not do the cam until the HP Tuners software comes out...
