Cam thrust plate??

Default Cam thrust plate??

I tried to search and find out if this needs to be replaced.. since it has some kinda of orange rubber on the back side, but its not raised.

Wasnt sure if its a sealing point.

Yes it's a seal. That seal is required to transfer oil from one side of the engine to the other.

If yours isn't bad you don't need to replace it. However if the orange gasket is torn you need to.

Hell mine has been through 2 5.3's an LS2 and now a forged 370 lol

and it's not really a thrust plate persay
