Default Cam specs ?

Ok I'm trying to get some facts about cams , I kinda understand the duration , lift , and LSA , but i can't figure out were thre ICL comes from or how do you choose it if your specing a cam out ? what determins the ICL ?

check this out got a little info in it. But really everyone has there own way of specing a cam. You can get one spect from 4 people and have 4 diff cams. Sorry if link is not allowed

I spent 4-6 months it seems trying to figure out cams, I never figured it all out, but I have a feeling that I've atleast got the general principal down... and that's all I need to start playing

visard has a book called how to build horsepower it has a lot of good stuff and explains a lot. but like I said just cause that is how he thinks means someone else thinks he is wrong. never ending battle.
