What cam is everyone going with and where is the best place to buy a package? I want something that is not too crazy but will yield very good numbers. Thanks

 

You're gonna have to be a little more forthcoming if you really want to know what these guys think. What engine do you have? What are your goals? Do you have any other modifications? Are you going forced-induction or naturally aspirated? What kind of budget are you working with?

 

Yeah, that was vague. I added the thread at work in a hurry sorry. Okay, I will more than likely stay NA for now. May end up going FI haven't decided for sure just yet. Right now that just depends on me finding a good used FI system. I have a 00' 5.3 silverado that currently has cai, shorty headers, factory 3.73s, true duals, and tuning is done with HPTuners. I am not worried with budget and as far as goals....I want the biggest cam I can get that still has good street manners.

 

How good of street manners are we talking here?

It is my daily driver so I don't need to lose that. So no real idle issues or anything. And with gas as high as it is, I don't need anything too radical...but yet want the power too. So, I guess as close to that as possible. I can get a stall too if that helps.
