Default cam piston question.

i just bout a tsp 228r cam for my lq9 it has 243 heads on in now. will i have to butterfly cut my pistons?

If the heads are in stock form and unmilled, and the block is also in stock form (hasnt been decked), there should be no issue running the 228R camshaft.
