Default Cam phaser question

Id like to know if I put a camshaft from a l9h vvt 6.2l into my 4.8 vvt l20. Will I a need a cam phaser or it will be fine.
Or do I have plenty room between pistons and valves with an extra. 0.043 / 0.034 in. Over stock lift. . 457 /. 466
the 6.2 cam is. . 500 /. 500

i beleive the 6.2 cam shoud be great with the 799 heads, smaller chambers and still big intake runners with the 2.00 in int. Valve.

short cam duration, with medium low lft @ .500, 115 lsa, this should be just fine. Keeping stock manifolds...it should be a torque friendly cam, with my 3.73 gears and stock converter...should be allright, right?
