Cam install????
#2
NOt hard at all just time consuming thats all. ls1howto.com has a how to install a cam in an f-body but you can use it for our trucks. You CAN do it yourself man I promise its not hard at all. Follow the instructions step by step and you will be fine.

Its easy. ive done about 6 in two different motors. The worst part is the valve springs. Get a good spring compressor. What cam are you going with? if youre staying small Id advise getting the $110 or so one from thunder, you wont regret it.

As far as the install goes, my buddys shop(Single Digit Racing) is gonaa be doing the install I am considering one from thunder. I need to get a stall to before I get my cam so its still up in the air what numbers on the cam im gonna be looking at. Been looking at the yank 2600 or 3000. Ill be doing heads soon to. The west coast 5.3s kinda cought my eye. As far as tuning is conserned I have a local guy that does ls1 tuning on his dyno.
