West Coast Cylinder Heads is a sponser of this site and has an excellent reputation for selling very good heads with very good customer service and good prices. I've not seen anything negative posted about Richard, only superlatives. They answered you in post #2 under the name of Richard@WCCH. Did any other company come on and answer you? Check him out. He cares.

I checked out their website and they only have GEN 3 and 4 LS1, LM7, LR4 heads, I didnt see any Gen 1-E Vortec L31 heads.

Unless I am mistaken, they only deal in the 98 and up LS1 and 99 and up 4.8, 5.3 engines.

We are an Edelbrock Warehouse Distributor and can provide nearly everything Edelbrock lists in their catalogue. We've not modded or sold any heads for late 90's Gen2 trucks as most truck owners don't hot rod those year engines. We can however provide the same services for your '98 truck that we provide for the Gen 3 owners. Should you decide to modify your iron heads or purchase new aluminum heads, we can probalby help. We can also offer suggestions for rounding out the rest of your combination. Feel free to shoot us an email, or even better, call us at the shop. We're open monday through friday 8:00am till 5:00pm pacific time.

Cheers,

Richard

Richard will take the time to listen to what you want out of your truck and then make a recommendation based on your specs. He won't just give you some pre-canned setup.
