all that lift is wasted without head work, even just the lift on the cam is a little big for stock heads. Then you have to think about dual springs and changing them plus they are alot harder on lifters pushrods etc..

So what you think would be a good cam? Its my daily driver but I only use it to go back and for to work. I want to get a good cam that will give me alot of power that I can use with a 2800 stall and stock heads, any ideas?

TR224 or the Lunati equivalent. The comp 222/224 cam does pretty well too in 4.8's. Remember you can get a custom cam from Comp if you want to. I have a 219/228-112 in my 4.8 with a 3000stall. It too is my DD, and I wouldn't go any more than 228 on duration. It lopes pretty hard, and you're going to need a damn good tune to make it easy and fun to drive on the street....everyday. Also the 112LSA doesn't help either.
The comp/TR lobes are ground with fast ramp rates that don't require the use of higher ratio rockers. In fact the lift that was quoted earlier would probably require a spring that would reak havoc on a factory hyd. lifter.
Oh yeah, welcome to the forum fellow Zoner!
