Default Building an LS2 and need info.

I have an aluminum 6.0 liter LS2. Can it be upgraded to a 7.0 liter motor, or do I have to upgrade to the LS7 to get the 427 ci displacement?

The LS2 block can be resleeved by ERL to allow a 4.125" bore. The most common LS2 stroker built with stock sleeves is a 402/404 with a 4" stroke. It is possible to use a 4.125" stroke for around 416/418, but that long of a stroke can have longevity issues.
