Default Build parts list?

How does this sound for a suggested parts list for a blown engine good for 1000hp?

LSX block
Callies Comp Star 4340 4.0" crankshaft (upgrade to Dragon Slayer??)
Callies 6.125" H beam rods (upgrade to Manley Pro Billet?) /ARP 2000 7/16" bolts
Wiseco 4.125" custom forged nitrous pistons, 30cc dish\NPR stainless chrome rings 1.2 1.2 3mm
Clevite 2199 H main brgs, Clevite CB663 H rod brgs, Dura Bond CH-23 cam brgs
ARP main studs

ET LS7 ETP LS7 CNC ported cylinder heads/6 bolt per cylinder/70cc/ Titanium 2.200" int. Inconel 1.60" exh. /dual springs, titanium retainers, machined locators & locks, GM valve seals.
Cam Motion custom LS1 camshaft
Roll master double roller timing set w/ torington bearing & nitrided gears.
Melling 10296 High Volume Oil Pump ported & shimmed
Morel Hyd Roller lifters
Head studs -ARP LSX L 19 for 6 bolt cylinder 12 pt. head stud kit
Cometic MLS head gaskets
Comp push Rods
Crower LS7 Rockers

Works out to $1000 plus the extra bolts/studs to have the 6-bolt heads compared to a similar set of LS7 heads.

Any suggested changes/additions/deletions?

I have been told there is machining required to fit a double roller t/c both block and pump sides, I went with a billit single row instead.
Way cool build up!

Yeah, watch out with this pump and double roller timing chain. I just had to buy a single roller billet chain to close the timing cover. Other than that, should be killer.

Save your money on the titanium intake valves. Stainless valves will cycle to 7000+ with a hyd roller cam.

We also make an LS7 head from All Pro's castings. Our current port designs flow over 400cfm on the intake and 260cfm on the exhaust. PM me if you'd like more info.

Good luck with this monster!

What they said above...

I like JE FSR series pistons with their FI file fit rings for 4" stroked LS motors... but Wiseco makes a good product too. Suggest the cam bore is line honed after cam bearing install. I wouldn't worry about the upgrades you have listed. I don't know if Morel has improved their product in the last 3 years but they are awefully loud. Suggest LS7 lifters.

Speaking of JE I found this pic on their site to illustrate my next question. Do lateral gas ports really make a difference($100 option)? I was told that they are good for 10-15hp and won't result in accelerated ring wear. Isn't there already enough of a gap in this area to would allow compression pressure to get behind the top ring and force it outward?

That appears to beat the ETP's by 20/20!

Is post #10 correct? https://ls1tech.com/forums/showthread.php?t=850278

What about the Caddy race lifters?

Is there a benefit to either the Morel or Caddy lifters if staying under 7000 RPM?

Thanks to everyone for your input so far.

The builder I spoke to confirms that this is correct and that they do the machining as part of the assembly process.

CHEVRACER83 could confirm for you regarding part number commonality. I have not used the Caddy Race lifters...
