Default boosted 427

So here's the deal, i'm going to build a street/strip single cab 1500 silverado. I made a thread over on ls1tech, and havn't had any responses... I have a sponsorship deal with the local GM dealership, so i'd like to use as many GM performance parts as i can. I'd like to run around 600hp low boost and 800-900hp high boost on the street and track and maybe a little above on a couple track runs on BIG boost. Since i can get these parts at cost or less, what all gm performance parts can i SAFELY run at these power levels. I was thinking about the LSX block, but what about the C5R block for weight savings. Will this block be fine as a 427 and a single turbo? I'm planning on using an ST80 turbo. Also, on the gm parts you wouldnt advise, which replacements would you go for. I've got a deal on ETP245's, should i just go with those? or another head, like LS7? I have read though, that the LS7 head dominates other heads as far as hp goes, but i think that's just peek power, heads like ETP show way more power under the curve, and more torque, which i think is really what i'll need since i'm putting this combo in a truck. pretty much i'm asking, when you guys have time, can you help me build my engine?? haha
THANKS,
-Kyle

for the goal you want. you dont need a 427 not to mention a st80 on a healty 427 is too small. for what you want a simple 6.0 or 6.7 with 76mm thru 88mm turbo would easily get your goal

Thanks, yeah, i thought about going that route, but i've always read about guys building setups for what they want at that time, and then later on, start over b/c they want more. So i figured i'd just go big right from the start with room to upgrade later. I think the 427 with an ST80 would be good for street driving b/c i can run lower boost levels yet still make good numbers on pump gas.
how much hp can the C5-R block take?
