Blower cams !!!

Bigger cam and bigger converter will improve top end speed. To really maximize the cam, bigger heads will help, too. The converter will cover the launch and the reduced bottom end power.
Just read your post on your cam purchase. Sounds like a good one, that's lots of lift. The OD pulley will really help. I had 9 lbs on my mainly stock 5.3. With the OD pulley I have 9 lbs again but now it's on my 6.3 with big heads and cam.

Do you know how much boost the OD helped on your combo?
This cam will help my low end a bunch im told, my MPH is good showing i have good horsepower, but my heavy truck is lacking bottom end with the current cam, so we will see what the new cam does.
Headwork if i do it will be a winter project, im happy with my stall, but i have a free restall down the road if i need it

I'd definitely have some plans for heads in my future to take full advantage of the .6xx lift of that cam, especially with the boost. I recently read an article that explained how important a good set of heads are, and that the old theory of "no need for heads, the boost will take care of it" really is incorrect, and good flowing heads that would be considered for NA applications also apply to boosted apps (with less compression when necessary of course

)Heres My Helper( 3 yr old Wyatt) with my new parts that arrived, ( You'll appreciate this Billy, having yourself a special helper also.)
My Cam arrived today,( THANKS T J @ B.E.I.!) also Thanks to my bud 03sierraSLT For the crank balancer install tool! Ive used it before and it works great!
Also have my IW od pulley ready to install, im gonna do it all at once.

And a boring pic of the 6.0, i had to put a new knock sensor harness on, thats why i pulled the blower. She needs a lil clean up and paint while im there.

Prob wont be till this weekend i get it installed, then gotta see T J for a final retune!

Nice looking pile of parts, gotta admit that I've got a chubby!
Great little helper too, he looks right at home in the "garage"
You are totally correct, I can totally appreciate having a little helper
