can i put my comp cam 232/236 .595/.598 112 from my 02 f-boy ls1 into a 5.3 03-06 avalanche?

are the ls1 cams interchangeable with the 5.3s?

It'll fit, but that's a huge cam for a heavy Avalanche IMO, you'd want a torquier setup to get that heavy brick moving.

LOL, yea, it's a custom Prius grind Actually, that little cam was good for 9/10 and 8 mph gains in the 1/4...still wishing that I had a TR220-112 though to hold me over until I can afford to put my LQ9 together

Some huge cams here lol, I thought mine in my new setup was pretty good size. Guess not. lol.. 23x/24x .624 113

what would you recommend?
i like they way it acts in my ws6, but yeah, the avy would be a bit heavier..

Iwould go on a tsp224 on a 3k stall that woulb be a bad Avy. IMO

I've messed with a 408 with the texas giant in it, idled great at 1000 rpms and drove great on a pretty loose converter. It was an ss camaro, th350 4000ish stall, 11:1 i believe with a vic jr...

or maybe a 228r on a 112
