Default Best cam for my nnbs silverado, need opinions!

wzup guys, well i made the mistake of selling the truck in my sig, since then i finally got me another 2wd, its a 2007 rcsb silverado 2wd with the 4.8, ive been thinking of getting a cam to beef it up some which it badly needs it, right now it has 3.23's which is killing my bottom end but in the futur i plan to do 3.90's with a probably a yank ss3200, so my question is what would be a good all around cam for power, also ive been reading on some of the nnbs and heard something about needing a new cam sprocket, my motor isn't flex fuel or doesn't cut to 4cylinders so is there anything i need to do different than i did with my 03 silverado, i just figured i would need the cam, springs, push rods, thanks for the help

4.8's were not offered with the DOD feature, IIRC..... only the 5.3, 6.0 was in the truck.

i loved my 212/218 in a 4.8. power everywhere, torque came in soon... i would do that on a 112 LSA.. with the lower lift 522/529 , and LS6 springs. perfect with that converter you mentioned.

How about a part number for that sprocket? I know i'm helpless...

Getting closer to installing a comp 212 218 high lift on a 114 lsa in my nnbs cc. Still need pushrods and cam sprocket.

212 218 114 lsa is what i plan on putting in my hoe. With a nice shot it should get the heavy sled moving

Comp Cams XR275HR. With a 3200 stall that should rock pretty well.
